We're always ecstatic here at GRA to find new SDMO awareness content online, but the following video really is something special. Video at end of article after ads ⬇️
Produced with the assistance of the Howell Township Police Department and Certified Auto Mall of Howell, the video not only helps spread SDMO awareness to the general public, but outlines what our first responder family in New Jersey is doing to help EACH OTHER stay alive at traffic incident scenes.
This is precisely the kind of cross-industry unity we strive to foster at Guard Rail Angels.
Unity and communication amongst tow operators, police, EMS and anyone else working traffic incident scenes is a vital necessity in reducing the growing number of SDMO-related deaths and injuries.
Without it, these scenes can quickly become a breeding ground for chaos, fostering an environment in which everyone involved, from first responders, to the motoring public can become potential victims of a distracted driver, leading to an even worse situation, ripe for disaster in the blink of an eye.
Do you have any examples of unity amongst first responders where you're from that you'd like to share? Be sure to post them in the comments below. We'd love to hear about them. Video Below ⬇️
